The University of Alabama is one of the top choices for 2024 4-stars Kylan Fox and Ify Obidegwu, per multiple reports. Check out their profiles below:

Kylan Fox

The 6-foot-4, 205 pound prospect out of Grayson High School, Loganville, Ga., is ranked as the No. 29 junior in the state and the consensus No. 8 tight end in the nation.

The Crimson Tide has made his final 15 in his list of schools, which also includes Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee and Ohio State.

Fox's highlights show all the aspects and expectations of the tight end position.

Fox's ability to get open is one of his best traits, and what he's especially known for. He's lined up on the outside and inside, but has the route running ability to get past faster cornerbacks.

Tight ends will often run a release route where they block for a short period and then break off and run a route. This might be Fox's specialty as he gets a ton of yards after catch in open space.

At 205 pounds, blocking could be very challenging. It isn't Fox's strong suit, but he has solid technique, quick feet and is explosive off the snap. If he could add some more strength, Saban and the coaching staff will have a much easier time teaching him more blocking skills.

Fox's height and speed often make him a mismatch, leading quarterback Jeff Davis to simply throw it up as Fox "mosses" the receiver and wins the jump ball.

Ify Obidegwu

The 6-foot-1, 190 pound prospect out of St. Frances Academy, Baltimore, MD, is ranked as the No. 6 junior in the state and the consensus No. 15 cornerback in the nation.

The Crimson Tide has made his final seven in his list of schools, which also includes Maryland, Ohio State, Tennessee, USC, Michigan and Oregon

Obidegwu's highlights often show a unique side of the cornerback position: the STAR.

Future NFL cornerback and Crimson Tide standout Brian Branch was a tackling machine at Alabama. He rarely fell for jukes and precision moves and often made plays behind the line of scrimmage. Branch also had great ability to stay with the receiver on short routes.

Obidegwu plays very similarly, but is listed as an inch taller. More length can make all the difference for this prospect to reach higher for pass breakups and wrap around easier.
