The Alabama football recruiting machine never stops, but at the moment one might say the Tide is refueling to prepare for the stretch run that is in-season recruiting, culminating in the December 20 early signing date.

The Tide missed out on a huge prospect on Tuesday as Eddrick Houston out of Buford High School committed to Ohio State. The 5-star spurned the Tide, leaving Alabama with two defensive linemen in the current class, however he'll continue to be heavily pursued until he puts ink to paper.

For now Alabama prepares for its opening week game against the MTSU Blue Raiders, and begins setting official visit dates for future recruits.
