Coach Rating Index has Hugh Freeze as a top ten head coach in the country according to 247Sports

247Sports wrote an article saying that a system called the "Matrix Analytical's Coach Rating Index" picked the top ten coaches in college football.

First-year Auburn headman Hugh Freeze was number eight on this list with an 82.01 rating.

The articles states that these ratings have a lot to do with win/loss records, the importance of the game won/lost, doing more with less, less with more, and how much talent was on the roster.

So when all of those factors come into play, Hugh Freeze, according to these metrics, is one of the best coaches in college football.

Freeze does have a resume to back it up, as he is one of only a few coaches to beat Nick Saban multiple times, and he was able to beat some power five teams during his time at Liberty.
