Auburn defensive tackle Jayson Jones is putting in the work this Spring to take his game to the next level. Jones, who recorded 28 tackles in his first season the Plains, is out with a Coach L. Jones, known as @Stepbystep_sportstraining on Instagram. Step By Step recently posted about a his bond with Jayson along with a picture of Jones holding a sledgehammer.

"The bond I have with my athletes is unmatched… @auburnfootball DT @thejaysonjones will be one of the most Dominant DT in the country this year… #StepByStep" Coach L. wrote.

The 6-foot-6, 310-pound lineman is expected to make significant strides this year under the guidance of new head coach Hugh Freeze and defensive coordinator Ron Roberts. With his size and athleticism, Jones has the potential to be a dominant force on the Auburn defensive line - hopefully being one of the primary pieces in the Tigers' quest to improve their run defense.

This isn't the first time we've seen Jones working with Jones this offseason. Back in December, Jones was also seen working through exercises with Step By Step.

As Auburn gears up for the upcoming season, fans will be eager to see how Jones performs on the field. With his talent, work ethic, and determination, it's become clear that he is one of the leaders on the Tigers' 2023 team.
