Auburn football defensive tackle Justin Rogers will be playing in another bowl.

Rogers has accepted an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl, a bowl consisting of players from the eastern and western parts of the United States. All participants are seniors from their respective schools.

The game has been played in various locations. Most editions have been held in California, although the most recent edition played there was in 2005. In June 2023, organizers announced the game would move to Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, starting with the 2024 edition. The NFL started suppling coaching staffs for the game in 2017.

Rogers appeared in all 12 games for the Tigers this season, recording 16 total tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack. He spent three seasons at Kentucky before transferring to Auburn, collecting 61 tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks.

Before participating in the East-West Shrine Bowl, which kicks off on February 1st, 2024, Rogers will play in the Music City Bowl this weekend with the Tigers.

Auburn (6-6, 3-5 SEC) will face off against Maryland (7-5, 4-5 Big Ten) this Saturday, December 30th, in Nashville, Tennessee. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ABC/ESPN+.
