Auburn CB Keionte Scott will return for another season at Auburn

In this story:
Auburn's secondary is going to lose a lot of important pieces to graduation and the NFL this offseason - but not Keionte Scott.
They'll be working with a largely inexperienced backend that will be put to the test early in their college careers.
Scott, Auburn's starting STAR and punt returner has announced that he will return via social media on Monday.

The corner/punt returner was one of Auburn's best players this season, earning a PFF grade of 76.4, good for fifth-best grade on the Tigers' defense.
Auburn has stockpiled a number of incredibly talented defensive backs over the course of these past two recruiting cycles, including three four-star safeties and a four-star cornerback from the 2023 class.
If Hugh Freeze were to flip 2024 five-star safety KJ Bolden away from Florida State, it would alleviate some of the stress that will be put on the secondary next year.
Scott missed a few games with injury this season, so hopefully, a solid 2024 season for the corner will boost his draft stock for the 2025 draft.
