Montana Lemonious-Craig has received a prediction to land at Auburn
The Auburn offense has seen an upgrade through the transfer portal at almost every position; the QB room got Payton Thorne, the TE room got Rivaldo Fairweather, and the OL room got many guys who will now start in the 2023 season. The only room that hasn't added that definitive upgrade is the WR room. That might change, according to Auburn Live's Jeffrey Lee.
Lee put in a prediction for Lemonius-Craig to transfer from Colorado to Auburn on May 5th. Lemonious-Craig does not seem like the biggest upgrade for the WR room, as he would only bring in 34 receptions, 497 yards, and five touchdowns, but he has a skill set that has been missing from Auburn offenses in the past. Lemonious-Craig has the speed and the agility to take the top off the defense and take a short pass all the way to the house.
Lemonious-Craig visited Auburn on April 29th, and all reports say he had a good visit. He caught the eye of some big-name programs when he entered the portal, as the day before, he had three receptions for 154 yards and two touchdowns in the Colorado spring game. Lemonious-Craig was one of many to leave Colorado following their spring game.
The prediction by Lee, who is more right than he is wrong, followed the commitment of Payton Thorne by just a few hours. The reason this is mentioned is because there have been multiple people around the program saying that the dominoes will start to fall. With Auburn landing their guy, it makes one think that the dominoes will start falling soon.
