In this story:

Auburn had its best showing of the season this past Saturday as the Tigers went on the road to Fayetteville and boat raced the Arkansas Razorbacks 48-10.

Aside from a garbage time touchdown, the Hogs couldn't seem to do a thing on offense, thanks to an incredible showing by the Auburn defense.

Two of the defensive stars of the game were Jalen McLeod and DJ James.

McLeod had three sacks and nine tackles in this game, leading the team in both of those categories. Three sacks are the most an Auburn Tiger has had in a game since Derick Hall did it in the 2021 Iron Bowl.

James had two tackles in this game and three pass breakups, so the Hogs had absolutely no success when throwing the football in the direction of Auburn's best corner.

The numbers these two put together earned them honors from PFF as they were listed on the Week 11 Defensive College Football Team of the Week put out by Pro Football Focus.

James received an 86.4 grade from PFF to lead the defense, while McLeod graded out at 81.3, which was third behind Marcus Harris.

If Auburn wants to give Alabama a run for its money in the Iron Bowl, McLeod will need to get constant pressure on Jalen Milroe, and James will need to lock down their wide receivers.
