Where is Tank Bigsby ranked among the rookies for dynasty fantasy football?

For those of us who are both Auburn fans and fantasy football lovers, there is nothing better than having a former Tiger skill position player headed to the league.

Auburn fans will have that pleasure thanks to former Tiger running back Tank Bigsby heading to the NFL.

Dynasty is a new-ish fantasy football style of league where you draft a team that will be yours forever, and you have a draft every year where only rookies are selected.

One of the better trusted fantasy football websites, Fantasy Pros, put out a list of their rookie rankings for fantasy football which had Bigsby 22nd overall and the ninth-best running back.

Bigsby is liable to move up or down in these rankings after the NFL Draft since a big part of these rookie drafts is seeing if the player will be on the field with the NFL team that drafts them.

A recent mock draft by CBS Sports had Bigsby going in the third round to the Arizona Cardinals.

This would be a perfect fit for Bigsby as he would be behind James Conner, who often gets injured, which would lead to Bigsby receiving some work.

Draft capital is also a big part of fantasy football. If a player is selected late in the NFL Draft, the team doesn't have a lot of money into them, which leads to teams moving on even if the player had a good season.

This is why a lot of Bigsby's 2023 fantasy football success will depend on him being selected in the third round or earlier.

There are always a few running backs who are drafted late in the NFL Draft and fantasy football drafts who surprise people and put up big numbers for fantasy owners. An excellent example of this would be Dameon Pierce or Isiah Pacheco from a season ago.

Bigsby is widely considered one of the most underrated players in this draft, so I foresee him having some value in 2023 for fantasy football owners.
