Third Matchup Between BYU and UCF
This will be the third matchup between BYU and UCF this season. A road win at UCF was BYU's first win in conference play. After an 0-2 start, BYU traveled to Orlando and took down UCF in a low-scoring game.
On February 13th, BYU hosted UCF in Provo. The Cougars had control of the game throughout the second half until UCF when on a wild scoring surge to close out the game. BYU held on to win 90-88.
The Bracket
The first round of the Big 12 tournament saw UCF take down Oklahoma State and Cincinnati beat West Virginia. With the win, UCF advanced to the second round to take on BYU. Cincinnati advanced to the second round to take on 6-seed Kansas. Kansas will be down two starters in the Big 12 tournament.
The winner of BYU-UCF will advance to the quarterfinals to take on 4-seed Texas Tech.
