Cincinnati Bearcats Good, Bad, & Ugly: Baylor Big 12 Tournament Quarterfinals

The Bearcats NCAA Tournament hopes likely ended on Thursday night.

TUNNEL HILL — The Cincinnati Bearcats put up a good fight but came up short against the Baylor Bears in a 68-56 exit from the Big 12 Tournament.

Here's the Good, Bad, & Ugly from the loss.

The Good: The Bearcats played a good first half as they were up at halftime. Star players Dan Skillings Jr., Jizzle James, and John Newman III all dropped double-digit points in this competition.

The Bad: Both Day Day Thomas and Simas Lukosius played poorly as Thomas shot 1-for-7 and Lukosius shot 1-for-8. They needed bigger games out of their top shooters in the tournament to move on

The Ugly: Now it’s unlikely the Bearcats make the big dance. They fought a good fight, but now hold just a 7% chance of making the NCAA Tournament on TeamRankings.
