John Newman III, Aziz Bandaogo, Dan Skillings Jr. Get Big 12 All-Conference Recognition
CINCINNATI — UC had three players get Big 12 honors following the 2023-24 season. John Newman III made the All-Defensive team while Dan Skillings Jr. and Aziz Bandaogo earned conference Honorable Mention.
Newman’s 41 steals are second to Day Day Thomas, and he also posted seven blocks this season.
The trio was a huge reason for Cincinnati’s heights this season as they took a big leap on defense and only lost one conference game by double digits.
