Drayden Pavey goes in-detail on each of his top schools

TUNNEL HILL — Drayden Pavey is a three-star defensive lineman from Robert A. Taft High School (Ohio). The Ohio athlete recently released his top-eight schools and spoke with All Bearcats to break down his reasoning.

Cincinnati: “Coach (Walter) Stewart has made me feel like Cincinnati is home. They welcomed me in with open arms and have shown a tremendous amount of love. I have met the entire staff, and they are all real dudes. Cincinnati is in my hometown. Coach Stewart was one of the first coaches to really hit me up every day.”

Miami (OH): “Academics at Miami Ohio is one of the main reasons I like having Miami Ohio in my top 8.”

Toledo: “Toledo is close to home, I can get a good education, and it’s a football school. great coaches, great development, and it’s a school I can see myself dominating at freshman year.”

Boston College: “Me and their coaches have just recently met. I have never seen a more straightforward coaching staff. We clicked immediately and I enjoy building relationships.”

West Virginia: “West Virginia is a great place to be. Great fans, great facilities, great education, and Coach (Andrew) Jackson is amazing.”

Pittsburgh: “Pitt produces great defensive tackles, they put defensive linemen in the league every year which means their player development is off the charts. My end goal is to get to the league and shine while I'm there.”

Indiana: “Coach (Pat) Kuntz is amazing. His players numbers are crazy. He came from James Madison and brought a whole new culture to Indiana that I really enjoy. Me and Coach Kuntz talk almost every other day and he tells me I am a main priority for him and IU.”

Purdue: “Purdue is a great place, close to home, and Coach (Brick) Haley and (Preston) Gordon are great. They show a tremendous amount of love and they have made me a priority as well. They want me there and they will develop me crazy as I have met with D-linemen from Purdue and spoke about the player development there as well. Seems like a great place to be.”
