Look: Cincinnati Guard Jizzle James One of the 25 Most-Improved Players Nationally During 2023-24 Season

Cincinnati has already gotten five double-digit scoring outings from this young star.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati freshman guard Jizzle James has gone from fringe rotation player to key scorer over the past few months and the analytics are backing up that improvement.

According to Evan Miya, James is 24th among all players nationally in Bayesian Performance Rating improvement compared to preseason projections.

So far, James has produced the 119th-best BPR number nationally and was projected to have the 579th-ranked BPR. The eye test and numbers test are both screaming improvement from James, who is averaging 8.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists on the season.

He already has five double-digit scoring performances as a freshman. Check out the full list.
