NCAA's Andy Katz Places Cincinnati as 11th Seed in 2024 NCAA Tournament

CINCINNATI — NCAA.com's Andy Katz released his first bracket prediction of the 2023-24 season on Thursday, and Cincinnati men's basketball made the cut as an 11th seed in the East Region, where they'd matchup against Illinois.

Cincinnati (6-0) is currently 37th nationally in KenPom as one of 22 unbeaten teams remaining in the country. It's the program's best start since 2017. Illinois is 26th in KenPom, as of this writing, with a 5-1 record.

UC has not participated in an NCAA Tournament this decade. It's the longest drought since a streak from 2005-10.
