Recruiting Roundup: Tyler McKinley Signing UC NLI, Wes Miller Offers Four-Star 2025 Guard King Grace

Cincinnati hoops is mixing it up with some major high school talent.

CINCINNATI — It's time for another recruiting check-in as the football season starts to wind down and basketball ramps up. We start on the hardwood where Cincinnati native Tyler McKinley is signing his NLI with Cincinnati on Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET.

The four-star 2024 forward is one of the 70 best players in the nation hailing from Winton Woods (Ohio).

The four-star news doesn't stop there as Cincinnati offered 2025 guard King Grace out of Waxahachie (Texas). 

According to 247Sports, Grace is the 52nd-best player nationally and the 10th-best shooting guard.

The 6-foot-5, 165-pound scorer holds 12 other offers from schools like Cal, Houston, and Kansas State. Grace lit up the Under Armour Circuit to the tune of 18.9 PPG and 44.6% this past summer.

We switch to the gridiron, where Cincinnati offered three-star 2025 cornerback Aydan West out of Quince Orchard (Maryland).

According to On3, West is the 48th-best cornerback in the country and the 15th-best player in Maryland.

The 6-foot, 176-pound playmaker holds seven other offers from schools like Boston College, Toledo, and Virginia Tech.

Next is an offer for three-star 2025 Pleasant Grove (Alabama) wide receiver Clarence Taylor.

According to 247Sports, Taylor is the 101st-ranked wide receiver nationally and the 32nd-ranked player in Alabama.

He holds six other offers from schools like Georgia Tech and Austin Peay.

We close with an offer for three-star Fullerton College JuCo transfer wide receiver Leland Smith.

According to 247Sports, Smith is the 20th-best JuCo transfer nationally and the fifth-best wide receiver.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pound wide out holds seven other offers from schools like Ohio and Purdue. Smith has 24 catches for 634 yards and nine touchdowns in eight games during the ongoing California Community College Athletic Association season.
