Pinging The Portal: UC In Contact With Hofstra Guard Aaron Estrada

In this story:
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats are targeting a recent foe to join them in the Big 12. Multiple reports have UC basketball in contact with Hofstra guard Aaron Estrada (20.2 Pts, 5.5 Reb, 4.3 Ast).
The 2022-23 CAA Player of the Year faced Cincinnati in this year's NIT and was a dynamic scoring presence for the Pride.
He's won conference POTY in consecutive seasons since transferring from Oregon. The 6-foot-4 efficient force has been top-three among All-CAA players in effective field goal percentage over the past two years for Hofstra.
To lead a conference in shots and stay that efficient is a good sign that he could have success in a Power Five return. On top of that, he was 11th among CAA players in assist rate in 2022-23.
Estrada is On3's sixth-best transfer this cycle.
