UC Forward Jarrett Hensley Selected to Play for USA East Coast

CINCINNATI — UC Forward Jarrett Hensley is working hard to improve his game this summer, and he's about to head overseas to continue that commitment. Hensley is a parti of the USA East Coast team heading over to Spain during the first week of August.

The team is comprised of college basketball players scattered across the country and is scheduled to play some of the best players in the ACB Spanish pro league.

"Coach (Wes) Miller and I had an end-of-the-year meeting like how he does with every player," Hensley told GoBearcats.com. "He brought it up to me about an opportunity to play in Spain, and I was really interested. I knew immediately it would be a good opportunity to play against grown men and meet new people as well to connect with. I was real excited. Shoutout to him for that."

The incoming junior transferred from UNC-Greensboro to UC after Wes Miller took the head coaching job. He averaged 1.5 points and 1.3 rebounds last season, with a chance to expand his role in a wide-open Bearcats frontcourt.
