UC Offers 2023 JuCo Center Saliou Seye

The Bearcats are the first D1 school to offer the center.

CINCINNATI — Wes Miller and his staff hit the junior college pipeline for their latest recruiting offer. The newest target is 2023 center Saliou Seye out of Senegal.

Seye is playing at Ellsworth Community College this upcoming season and will have three years of college eligibility left when he chooses his next school. He is not ranked on a database but has three offers from UC, Wichita State, and Iona. Cincinnati was the first Division 1 school to offer him.

I imagine this seven-footer will end up closer to 30 offers than three by the time he picks a school. Seye has impressive versatility at all three levels of the floor. He can nearly defend all five positions and has guard-like passing chops—rarely wasting time on passing decisions.

The man loves himself some blocks. He displays impressive timing on denials and has the makings of a viable jump shot, although it needs some more development. It's hard to find a package of skills like this in a seven-foot frame.
