Ahmad 'Sauce' Gardner Tops All Rookie Corners in Madden Rating

The Jets top pick learned his rating long before Coby Bryant and Curtis Brooks found out on Thursday.

CINCINNATI — Madden ratings are out for NFL cornerbacks and defensive linemen. That means a first look at where Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner, Curtis Brooks, and Coby Bryant stack up with the rest of the league.

We already knew the Jets' top pick was a 78 overall from his spot-on guess at the NFL Rookie Showcase, but now we can confirm he is the highest-rated rookie cornerback. Texans' CB Derek Stingley checked in behind him at 77 overall.

Some of Gardner's top attributes are speed (92), acceleration (94), agility (89), jump (89), stamina (90), change of direction (86), and press rating (83).

Following Gardner on the CB rankings is Seahawks cornerback Coby Bryant (68 overall). Bryant has strengths in speed (88), acceleration (90), agility (83), jump (80), stamina (90), and change of direction (83).

The new Colts defensive tackle checks in with a 63 overall rating. Brooks's top attributes are strength (85), toughness (89), pursuit (76), and power (76).
