Weekly NET: Two-Loss Week Does Little Damage to Bearcats Ranking

Cincinnati is fighting some tight battles in the Big 12.

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats 0-2 record this past week did not do much damage to their standing in the NET rankings, as they sit at No. 33 overall heading into a matchup against TCU.

The losses to Baylor and Texas by a combined four points were more footnotes in a monster of a Big 12 season where seemingly any team in the conference can win on any night.

Among Big 12 teams, nine are in the top 37 of the NET rankings as Cincinnati prepares to face No. 29 (TCU) and No. 24 (Oklahoma) this week.

The Bearcats currently hold a 62% chance of making the NCAA Tournament on TeamRankings. Results this week will swing that number dramatically.
