Bearcats Football Hires New Director Of Recruiting

Cincinnati added one new name to a list of known additions on Monday.

CINCINNATI — Scott Satterfield and UC football announced one more fresh addition to the recruiting staff that hasn't surfaced in the past few weeks.

Along with new offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Tom Manning and other known recruiting staffers, UC is hiring Caroline Tart as director of recruiting.

Tart was just Satterfield's director of on-campus recruiting at Louisville this past season. She helped lead all on-campus events, such as official visits, unofficial visits, junior days, and game day programming.

“Recruiting is the lifeblood for any football team," Satterfield said in a press release about Tart and reported additions like Cass Simmons and Zach Grant. "I’m confident we have assembled one of the nation’s top recruiting staffs in the country. In the changing landscape of college football, player evaluation and retention, and finding the best fits for your program will be more important than ever.

“We’ve grown our recruiting and personnel department to be the biggest it has ever been here at the University of Cincinnati. The track records of success for our new staff members speak for themselves. They’ve all been at winning programs, and we are excited to have them hit the ground running here at UC.”

Tart worked at Oklahoma (2017-21) and North Carolina (2017) before her one-year stop with Satterfield in Lousiville.

Cincinnati's loaded up a strong arsenal of recruiting voices, and now its wheels up all over the country as the program starts building its future talent.
