CINCINNATI — The new year is nearly here as Cincinnati football continues to mine the transfer portal for talent. We start with a visit next week with New Mexico State safety Mehki Miller.

Miller has one year of eligibility left after posting 59 tackles, four pass breakups, and two interceptions last season.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound thumper posted a nice 76.9 PFF grade last season. That came across 568 snaps and included a 79.3 coverage grade.

Miller can play safety and slot cornerback and would be a nice versatile addition to UC's secondary.

We move to offers starting with Michigan cornerback Cameron Calhoun who was committed to Cincinnati until late 2022.

Calhoun played 13 total snaps as a freshman this past season after entering Michigan as 247Sports's No. 454 overall player nationally, No. 46 cornerback, and the No. 14 player in the state of Ohio.

He has three years of eligibility.

We close this latest look with an offer for freshman Troy safety Chris Rodgers.

Rodgers holds three years of eligibility after posting 15 tackles, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup this past season.

He played 181 snaps at mostly linebacker in 2023, good enough for a 57 overall PFF grade.
