Report: Bob Huggins Demands Job Back, Threatens to Sue West Virginia University
CINCINNATI — Bob Huggins wants his job back.
The former West Virginia University Men's Basketball coach is demanding reinstatement according to Hoppy Kercheval. Huggins claims he never resigned and if he isn't reinstated, he plans to sue the school.
The 69-year-old was arrested for a DUI last month. He also had to face harsh penalties from West Virginia University after making homophobic comments on Cincinnati's 700 WLW on May 8.
Huggins has been the head coach at Walsh University, the University of Akron, the University of Cincinnati, Kansas State University and West Virginia University.
He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in September.
