CINCINNATI β€” The Bearcats landed the 12th commitment in the 2024 class from three-star Marqavious Saboor out of Kell (Georgia).

According to 247Sports, Saboor is ranked 584th nationally and 58th among safeties.

He visited Cincinnati this past weekend and committed quickly. Saboor is the third 2024 safety to pick UC and the sixth Georgia recruit (leads all states).

Saboor is now the third-highest-rated recruit in the class on 247Sports after picking UC from 21 other offers. He should sneak Cincinnati back into the top 30 classes on 247Sports.

According to MaxPreps, Saboor tallied 37 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 2 pass breakups, and 1 interception in eight games last season. He also reeled in 5 passes for 165 yards and 1 touchdown.

Saboor is dynamic free safety that can play centerfield with nice ball skills and bring the pain as a tackler in the box. The 6-foot, 170-pound playmaker does a great job of keeping his eyes in the backfield and tracking wonky deep passes.

He does such a nice job with depth that some of his interceptions look like punt returns. Saboor is an even bigger return threat in those scenarios with space. He can make turnovers become touchdowns in a hurry. Speaking of punts, Saboor has strong return-game skills and a nose for open alleys.
