2025 Wide Receiver CJ Crite Wants to Capitalize on His Cincinnati Offer

He broke down what the UC offer means to him.

TUNNEL HILL — CJ Crite is one of the most recent names to be added to the Cincinnati offer list. Crite is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound wide receiver position. He is currently unranked on all major recruiting sites however he holds five college offers up to this point.

Crite spoke with All Bearcats to recap his conversation with UC.

“The Cincinnati offer means a lot to me," Crite said. "It’s a big opportunity for me and I have to take advantage of it. Some other kids don’t get the same opportunity I get so I’m blessed for it.”

Crite spoke with the coaching staff earlier in the week and dove into his conversation.

“I spoke with Coach Fuqua and we were talking about rec league basketball and he got straight to the point telling me how I can play ball and can move around," Crite described. "I believe the coaching staff as a whole is great. I feel like they make their players feel comfortable where they are.”

Cincinnati has been known to catch the eye of some young prospects for a variety of reasons. The talented wide-out prospect dove deep into what he believed makes the Bearcats unique.

“What makes Cincinnati unique to me is the campus and the football field but I would also want to see how the academic system is," Crite said. "I’m most definitely trying to get up there for a visit as soon as I can. What I can bring to a program like UC is being a good player and helping others when the help is needed.”
