Cincinnati Football Adds Third 2024 Commitment From Three-Star Tight End Gavin Grover

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats added a 2024 recruit following the spring game in three-star tight end Gavin Grover out of Olentangy (Ohio).

He joins defensive back Daniel James and offensive lineman Jake Wheelock in the class.

According to 247Sports, Grover is the 694th-ranked player nationally and the 28th-ranked tight end in the class. He had Cincinnati in his top three schools recently.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound playmaker doesn't wow athletically right now, but he is a fundamentally sound tight end that also wreaks havoc as a defensive end.

Grover boasts boasts trusty hands and can block well in the open field.
