CINCINNATI — We got an interesting school move from a top 2024 UC Men's basketball target. Four-star forward Tyler McKinley is transferring from Walnut Hills (Ohio) to Link Academy (Missouri) for the 2022-23 season.

Wes Miller and the UC staff are familiar with Link Academy after pursuing Xavier-commit Trey Green during the 2023 cycle. They ended up dropping out of Green's recruitment, but they aren't done pursuing talent from the team.

Mckinley averaged 17.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per game last season, and 247Sports Composite has him ranked as the 61st player in the 2024 class. He is the site's 10th-ranked power forward and No. 1 player in Ohio—pending his move to Missouri.

Mckinley has 10 offers from schools like Ohio State, Kansas State, and Ohio.
