Recruiting Roundup: Bearcats Offer Top-10 2024 Athlete; Three More Recruits
CINCINNATI — Recruiting rarely slows down for a program like Cincinnati as they sent out a bevy of offers on Wednesday, starting with 2024 offensive lineman Luke Hamilton out of Avon (Ohio).
According to On3 consensus, Hamilton is the 139th-ranked player nationally and the seventh-best interior offensive lineman. He now holds 20 offers and On3 gives Penn State (30.3%) the inside track to land him. Check out his highlights here.
Next up is four-star 2024 athlete Jaylen Mbakwe out of Clay-Chalkville (Alabama).
According to On3 consensus, Mbakwe is the 21st-ranked recruit nationally and the second-rated athlete. Mbakwe primarily plays corner and would be the highest-rated UC recruit in the 247Sports era. He holds 23 offers from schools like Alabama, Auburn, and Arkansas. Check out his highlights here.
The 2023 targets start with three-star wide receiver Fredrick Moore out of Cardinal Ritter College Prep (Missouri).
According to On3, Moore is the consensus 854th-ranked player nationally and the 124th-ranked wide receiver. He holds 22 offers and is most closely linked by On3 to Illinois (59%). Moore has an official visit with the Illini on June 3. Check out his highlights here.
The football offers round out with 2024 three-star tight end Gavin Grover out of Olentangy (Ohio).
According to 247Sports, Grover is the 15th-ranked tight end in the class and holds five offers from Akron, Kentucky, Iowa State, and Michigan State. Check out his highlights here.
