CINCINNATI — The recruiting offers keep humming from Cincinnati football, starting with three-star 2025 linebacker Josh Veldman out of Lincoln Way West.
According to 247Sports, Veldman is the 72nd-ranked linebacker nationally and the 29th-best player in Illinois.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound thumper holds five other offers from schools like Iowa State and Akron.
Next, the Bearcats offered three-star 2025 linebacker Carson Cooney out of Oswego (Illinois).
According to 247Sports, Cooney is the 51st-ranked linebacker nationally and the 17th-best player in Illinois.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound tackler holds eight other offers from schools like Iowa and Illinois.
An offer went out to unranked 2025 safety Javion Butts from Jones County (Georgia).
The 6-foot, 172-pound safety holds 15 other offers from schools like Duke and North Carolina.
Cincinnati also offered three-star 2025 tight end Meyer Swinney out of Edina (Minnesota).
According to On3, Swinney is the 23rd-ranked tight end nationally and the second-best player in Minnesota.
He holds 11 other offers from schools like Iowa State and Kansas.
We close with another tight-end offer for 2026 Catholic Central (Michigan) product Jack Janda.
He is not ranked on major service and holds 13 other offers from schools like Indiana and Michigan State.
