CINCINNATI — UC is starting to put more resources into the Class of 2025 as the calendar pushes on, prompting a pair of top-80 offers.

Things start with four-star Alcoa (Tennessee) tight end Eli Owens.

According to 247Sports, Owens is the 77th-ranked player nationally and the fifth-best athlete.

He holds 14 offers from schools like Wisconsin and Ohio State.

Owens and Ethan Barbour share a lot of similar skills. The Alcoa athlete primarily plays tight end and dominates small outside cornerbacks with a 6-foot-3, 225-pound frame.

The sophomore plays angrily as a runner and blocker. He can bull through players in the open field and does a fantastic job keeping his blocks engaged at each level of the defense.

Cincinnati also offered four-star 2025 tight end Ethan Barbour out of Alpharetta (Georgia).

According to 247Sports, Barbour is the 73rd-ranked player nationally and the second-best tight end.

He holds 21 offers from schools like Colorado and Auburn.

Barbour lives up to the billing on film. He thrives as a split-out or in-line tight end. He can make plenty of plays from both alignments but really pops as a split-out receiver.

His interior blocking is very stable, and he has the frame to dominate smaller edge defenders/linebackers in the Big 12.
