UC Football Near Top-25 Nationally In 2024 Recruiting Rankings Average

The Bearcats have 10 hard commits heading into Memorial Day weekend.

CINCINNATI — ESPN revealed its latest 2024 recruiting rankings and Craig Haubert has Cincinnati at No. 23 in the refresh.

"Luke Fickell elevated the Bearcats recruiting, and while he may be gone, Scott Satterfield and staff have not let the program regress," Haubert wrote. "They pulled out of Georgia ESPN 300 defender Qua Birdsong, who can be a disruptive presence off the edge with his length and an explosive first-step. DE Josaiah Knight was a nice pickup out of Florida, as he's a prospect with upside, length, and quickness. Jake Wheelock is a strong in-state keep, as he has a nice frame to develop and good bend."

Cincinnati has 10 commits right now, led by Birdsong, who is the fourth-highest-rated commit for the team in the 247Sports era. Here is the breakdown by state:

Around the other recruiting services, Cincinnati is holding firm in the 19-35 range: On3 (34th), Rivals (25th), and 247Sports (19th). That leaves UC with an average spot of 25.25 nationally.
