UC Makes Top-Seven Schools For Four-Star 2024 Forward Tyler Betsey

Cincinnati has one player committed in the upcoming class.

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati is among the top seven schools for 2024 four-star power forward Tyler Betsey. UConn, Creighton, Alabama, Duke, Indiana, and Villanova are also in the mix.

According to 24/7 High School Hoops, He is slated for an official UC visit this fall.

According to 247Sports, Betsey is the 37th-ranked player nationally and the sixth-ranked small forward.

He holds 27 offers from schools like Alabama, UConn, and Auburn.

UC offered him back in May of this year.

Betsey is a dynamic 6-foot-8, 185-pound wing. He has all of the physical tools to guard positions 1-4 and maybe some fives at the college level. His isolation game is where things start to pop though.

He's got a nice package of dribble-drive moves with great physicality and balance in the lane. Plus, he's got a good-looking pull-up jump shot to complement his driving skill. Cincinnati's only 2024 commit as of this writing is from four-star forward Tyler McKinley.

Betsey could morph into a fantastic go-to scorer in the Big 12.
