Recruiting Roundup: UC Basketball Offers Five-Star 2025 Guard Darryn Peterson

CINCINNATI — Cincinnati football has been welcoming high school talent in for camps ahead of their fall camp starting next week and a few offers came out of the workouts. UC hoops also sent a couple of recent offers out as well.

Things start with an offer for 2025 five-star shooting guard Darryn Peterson out of Cuyahoga Valley Christian School (Ohio).

According to 247Sports, Peterson is the third-best player nationally and the best shooting guard in the country.

The 6-foot-5, 193-pound talent holds 18 offers from schools like Arizona State and Baylor.

2025 SG 6-foot-5 Darryn Peterson is one of the more intriguing prospects in the country regardless of class.

Jumping to the gridiron with an offer for three-star 2025 quarterback Zebulin Kinsey out of Toronto (Ohio).

According to 247Sports, Kinsey is the 42nd-ranked quarterback nationally and the 33rd-best player in Ohio. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound talent holds two other offers from West Virginia and Oklahoma State.

Next, we have an offer to 2025 edge rusher Cal Thrush out of Upper Arlington (Ohio).

Thrush is not ranked on 247Sports and holds two other offers from Ball State and Kent State.

Moving back to the hardwood, Wes Miller's crew sent out an offer to 6-foot-3 2025 point guard Micah Tucker out of Huntington Prep (West Virginia).

Tucker is not ranked on a major service. He holds three other offers from Florida, Georgia State, and UCF.
