Three-Star 2023 CB Cameron Calhoun Commits to UC
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats secured another 2023 commitment in the secondary. Cameron Calhoun, a three-star cornerback out of Winton Woods (Ohio), is playing his college ball for Luke Fickell.
According to On3 consensus, Calhoun is the 708th-ranked recruit nationally and the 67th-ranked cornerback. He was committed to West Virginia, but UC offered him a few weeks ago and he quickly got on board.
Winton Woods plays a heavy amount of off-coverage, allowing Calhoun to showcase his speed closing on the ball. The ball skills on film are impressive—he tracks opposing passes nicely on long-developing throws and lasered intermediate balls. Calhoun is also a decent form tackler that can continue growing his body in the weight room under strength coach Brady Collins. Check out his highlights here.
Cincinnati now has 20 commits and is hot on the heels of Texas Tech for the second-rated class nationally on 247Sports. Both UC and the Red Raiders lead all programs with 20 commits each.
