JJ Redick loves to talk. And he's great at it, particularly when talking hoops. So, the all-time Duke basketball scorer, a retired 15-year NBA journeyman sharpshooter, is adding to what is already a jam-packed slate on the mic by starting a new weekly podcast, Mind The Game, with a fellow 39-year-old in Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

Episode One tips off at 7 a.m. ET Tuesday.

On Monday, Redick's ThreeFourTwo Productions and James' Uninterrupted announced their collaboration, teasing fans with a two-minute clip that captures the podcast's focus: "a celebration of the sport as they discuss the state of the game, dissect X's and O's (like they do here), and wax poetic about the game they love."

Redick, who averaged 12.8 points per game as a pro and ranks No. 18 in league history with his career 41.5 shooting percentage beyond the arc, never played on the same NBA team as James, now the game's all-time leading scorer.

This is not Redick's first podcast pursuit, as he became the first active NBA player to ever host one in 2017. Three years later, he co-founded ThreeFourTwo with Tommy Alter and created his ongoing podcast, The Old Man and the Three.

At the same time, he's been building his presence on ESPN at breakneck speed. First, Redick was a frequent guest on the morning shows. Then, he became a full-time studio analyst and budding commentator. Now, he appears alongside play-by-play voice Mike Breen and analyst Doris Burke on ABC/ESPN's No. 1 NBA broadcast team.
