3-Star DB Jeremy Cook Commits To Jackson State

Three-star defensive back Jeremy Cook announced his commitment to Jackson State. He was committed to Arkansas since July 31 but flipped his commitment to the Tigers. He also held offers from Cincinnati, South Alabama, and Southern Miss. 

Cook is the No. 163 safety and No. 68 player in Alabama, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound safety is from Hoover, Alabama. He was an All-Region honorable mention as a senior.

Cook is the 17th-highest-rated commit in program history. He joins three-star ATH Kobe Boykin as the highest-rated commits in the 2024 class for the Tigers. 

UNI DL Khristian Boyd Named Defensive Player of the Week At Shrine Bowl

Former Northern Iowa defensive lineman Khristian Boyd was named the Defensive Player of the Week at the East-West Shrine Bowl by the Pro Football Network. He was also named to the All-East Practice Team. 

Over six seasons, Boyd saw action in 49 career games for the Panthers. He finished his career with 149 total tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, five pass breakups, and two forced fumbles. He earned third-team FCS All-American honors from multiple publications last season and was a first-team All-MVFC selection. 

Boyd signed with Northern Iowa as a three-star prospect out of Kansas City, Missouri. He would be the first defensive lineman from Northern Iowa to be selected in the NFL Draft since 1991. 

3-Star QB Braden Graham Commits To Holy Cross

Three-star quarterback Braden Graham announced his commitment to Holy Cross. He committed to the Crusaders over offers from Arkansas State, Ole Miss, Louisville, Kentucky, James Madison, and Duke.

Graham is the No. 77 quarterback and No. 44 quarterback in the class of 2024, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound quarterback is from Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. 

Graham was named the Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year last season, becoming the first male athlete in school history to win the award. He finished his senior season with 3,492 passing yards, 42 passing touchdowns, and only three interceptions.
