Florida State is making waves in the transfer portal once again. The Seminoles have landed multiple top transfers over the past couple of days and that has continued into the middle of the week.

On Wednesday afternoon, former Oregon State defensive end Sione Lolohea announced that he was graduate transferring to FSU for his final season of collegiate eligibility. Lolohea is the second member of the program to wind up in Tallahassee this offseason, joining quarterback DJ Uiagalelei. He chose the Seminoles over USC.

The California native is coming off a productive career with the Beavers. He was named Second-Team All-Pac 12 after recording a career-high 47 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 2023. Lolohea tied for second on the team in tackles for loss.

During his four years at Oregon State, Lolohea totaled 88 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, four sacks, four forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 40 appearances, with 22 starts.

Lolohea was ranked as the No. 980 overall prospect, the No. 21 SDE, and the No. 56 recruit in the state of California in the 2020 class according to 247Sports.

Florida State adds Lolohea to a room that includes redshirt junior Patrick Payton, redshirt junior Byron Turner Jr., redshirt junior Jaden Jones, junior Marvin Jones Jr., redshirt sophomore Tomiwa Durojaiye, redshirt sophomore Aaron Hester, redshirt freshman Lamont Green Jr, and true freshman DD Holmes. Walk-on Dante Anderson has also earned playing time at different junctures.

Lolohea is the tenth transfer to join the Seminoles since December. The program has also added former Georgia defensive end Marvin Jones Jr, former Oregon State/Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, former LSU wide receiver Jalen Brown, former Alabama cornerback Earl Little Jr., former Colorado State defensive tackle Grady Kelly, former Indiana running back Jaylin Lucas, former Miami defensive back Davonte Brown, former Alabama wide receiver Malik Benson, and former West Virginia defensive end Tomiwa Durojaiye over the last few weeks.
