Multiple FSU Football Players Have Opted To Appear In College Football 25

A handful of Seminoles have already declared their intentions to appear in the upcoming College Football 25 video game.

EA Sports is finally reviving its popular college football video game series this summer. After more than a decade away from the space, College Football 25 will mark the company's return to the sport thanks to the introduction of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).

NIL will allow EA Sports to offer FBS players around the country $600 and a copy of the game for the gaming console of their preference in exchange for their likeness to be utilized in the virtual world. That's led to over 5,000 players opting in since contracts were sent out less than a week ago.

Multiple members of Florida State's roster have already announced their inclusion into the game. Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, wide receiver Jalen Brown, tight end Landen Thomas, offensive lineman Tye Hylton, and linebacker Justin Cryer all revealed they've opted in on social media. It appears that rosters won't be limited to just scholarship players as walk-ons such as quarterback Trever Jackson and defensive back Jaden Floyd made similar posts.

Uiagalelei projects to be one of the highest-rated players for the Seminoles. The redshirt senior has a wealth of experience after playing for Clemson and Oregon State. He's coming off one of the most productive seasons of his career as he completed 57.1% of his passes for 2,638 yards with 21 touchdowns to seven interceptions while also rushing for six scores. He averaged a career-best 8.7 yards per attempt despite throwing fewer passes than in his two years when he started at Clemson.

Florida State's official account previously confirmed its appearance in the game last week. EA Sports issued a release that all 134 FBS programs will be featured in College Football 25. The company is expected to provide a full release date in May.
