Florida State is returning plenty of players across the roster in 2024 who have a ton of potential but not much production early in their college careers. Another offseason could do wonders as the Seminoles try to develop a couple more homegrown stars in their pursuit of another ACC Championship and College Football Playoff appearance.

On Monday morning, sophomore wide receiver Hykeem Williams announced he was returning to Tallahassee for another season, through a release with The Battle's End. A former five-star prospect and top-100 recruit in the 2023 class, Williams has the capability to grow into a special player with the Seminoles.

The Florida native is coming off a season where he caught five passes for 80 yards and a touchdown in eight appearances. He was limited by a lower-body injury during the second half of the season but returned to play a season-high 31 snaps in the Orange Bowl. Williams scored the lone touchdown of his campaign in FSU's win over Syracuse in October.

Williams was displaying a ton of promising signs prior to his injury. After struggling with conditioning in the spring, he worked his way into shape and began to show why he was so highly regarded as a prep athlete. Another year in the conditioning program and system will benefit Williams as he continues to grow.

Despite the departures of Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson, the Seminoles are bringing back a lot of talent at wide receiver that includes Williams, redshirt senior Kentron Poitier, redshirt senior Ja'Khi Douglas, redshirt senior Darion Williamson, redshirt senior Deuce Spann, senior Malik Benson, sophomore Vandrevius Jacobs, sophomore Destyn Hill, and redshirt freshman Jalen Brown.

Outside of Williams, RB Lawrance Toafili, RB Caziah Holmes, WR Darion Williamson, WR Kentron Poitier, WR Ja'Khi Douglas, WR Destyn Hill, WR Vandrevius Jacobs, OL Robert Scott, OL Darius Washington, OL Maurice Smith, OL Keiondre Jones, and OL Jeremiah Byers have announced their returns on offense.

DE Patrick Payton, DE Byron Turner Jr, DT Darrell Jackson, DT Joshua Farmer, DT Daniel Lyons, DT KJ Sampson, LB Omar Graham Jr., CB Azareye'h Thomas, CB Fentrell Cypress II, CB Quindarrius Jones, CB Ja'Bril Rawls, S Shyheim Brown, S Ashlynd Barker, P Alex Mastromanno, and K Ryan Fitzgerald have all announced they'll return to Florida State since December.
