2024 NFL Mock Draft Predicts Three First Rounders for Georgia Football

2024 NFL mock draft from ESPN's Matt Miller predicts where every former Georgia Bulldog will land in all seven rounds.

The 2024 NFL draft is less than a month away which means final predictions are starting to roll in. The Georgia Bulldogs have eleven former players that draft eligible this year, and several of them are on the cusp of becoming first-round selections. At least that’s what the latest NFL mock draft tells us.

ESPN’s Matt Miller released a seven-round mock draft on Wednesday, and he had three Bulldogs being taken in the first round and four of them off the board within the first 50 picks. Here is where Miller had the former Bulldogs landing in this year’s draft:

2024 NFL Draft Prediction for Former Bulldogs:

  • 1st round, 10th, Brock Bowers, TE, New York Jets
  • 1st round, 24th, Amarius Mims, OT, Dallas Cowboys
  • 1st round, 30th, Ladd McConkey, WR, Baltimore Ravens
  • 2nd round, 37th, Kamari Lassiter, DB, Los Angeles Chargers
  • 2nd round, 64th, Javon Bullard, DB, Kansas City Chiefs
  • 4th round, 117th, Tykee Smith, DB, Indianapolis Colts
  • 5th round, 145th, Sedrick Van Pran, C, Denver Broncos
  • 7th round, 230th, Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, WR, Minnesota Vikings
  • 7th round, 233rd, Kendall Milton, RB, Dallas Cowboys

Some things worth noting, this means that Miller believes running back Daijun Edwards and defensive lineman Zion Logue will go undrafted this year - though not everyone shares that same belief. However, having five players taken within the first two rounds would be a big success for the Bulldogs - who have been dominating the draft for the last couple of years.

McConkey is one of the more notable predictions in this mock draft with him turning into a borderline first-round selection during the pre-draft process. Georgia fans would certainly love him to be reunited with his former offensive coordinator Todd Monken in Baltimore.

Lassiter is another player who has been toeing the line of potentially being a first-round selection. Questions have risen about his top-end speed due to the 40-yard dash times he posted at Georgia’s pro day, but his college tape certainly advertises what a first-round defensive back should look like. This year’s defensive back class being loaded at the top doesn’t help his case either, but Lassiter being valued as one of their players off the board in the second round shows that he is still a coveted prospect at his position.

As for Bowers and Mims, their draft stock has held pretty steady throughout the entire process. The former Georgia offensive line has continuously been pegged as a back-end first-round pick. The biggest question for Bowers has been will a team snag him within the first 10 picks, and Miller seems to think somebody will.
