USC Defensive Lineman Bear Alexander Plans to Enter Transfer Portal

Former Georgia Bulldog and now USC Trojan Bear Alexander is reportedly entering the transfer portal ahead of the 2024 season

USC Trojans defensive lineman Bear Alexander is reportedly planning to enter the transfer portal ahead of the 2024 offseason. During his time at USC, Alexander totaled 56 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and was a bright spot on a rather disappointing USC defense.

Bulldog fans will recognize Alexander, as he originally began his career at Georgia and was a member of the team during the Dawgs 2022 national championship run.

As a true freshman, Alexander tallied five solo tackles and two sacks as a reserve player in 2022. One of his sacks came against TCU in the national championship game and he flashed numeroud times as a true freshman and looked to be a player who would be competing for snaps this next season, but Alexander ultimately decided to transfer to USC prior to the 2023 season.

Should Alexander find a new landing spot, this will be his third different team in as many seasons.
