Georgia Bulldogs RB Nate Frazier’s Latest Comments Show Why Dawg Fans Love Him

In this story:
Georgia running back Nate Frazier's latest comments remind Bulldog fans why is one of the most loved players on the team.
Georgia Bulldogs running back Nate Frazier has become a fan-favorite, thanks to his infectious personality and hard-nose running style. The running back has also provided Dawg fans with a handful of major moments, such as a game winning touchdown against Georgia Tech in 2024 and a handful of 100-yard performances.
During the 2025 season, Frazier turned in a career high, 947 yards on the ground, and was the Bulldogs leading rusher throughout the 2025. His contributions to the Bulldogs' offense helped the team win its second-consecutive national title and reach yet another College Football Playoff.
But while there is no doubt that Frazier is well-liked within the Georgia fan base, the ball carrier's latest comments have served as another great reminder as to why he is one of the most beloved players on the roster.
Earlier this week, Frazier spoke to the media and discussed previous rumors that the running back was flirting with entering the transfer portal following the 2025 season. Frazier's comments not only cemented his loyalty to the Bulldogs, but also showed his passion for the program.
Nate Frazier Speaks on Offseason Transfer Portal Rumors

"I know this is where I'm supposed to be. I love this place, and I know I don't belong anywhere else," said Frazier. "I feel like at this point, I've shown everybody that I bleed red and black."
Earlier in the offseason, Frazier revealed that he heard some "crazy numbers" when other teams were attempting to entice him into entering the portal. Despite this, the running back has remained fully committed to the Bulldogs.
Tampering in college football has unfortunately become the norm for many programs, and the added stress of ensuring key contributors remain on the roster has created a massive issue for college football coaches and fans.
Oftentimes, players leave one school for more money at another, which has created a growing amount of tension between players and fans. Luckily for the Bulldogs, Frazier's choice to stay in Athens will almost certainly pay dividends for the Bulldogs come the fall.
In an era where loyalty amongst athletes feels lower than ever, Frazier's comments and actions have not only solidified him as a rarity in college football. They have helped contribute to Frazier being one of Georgia's most beloved running backs on this year's roster.
