Former Georgia Bulldogs punter Brett Thorson recently gave head coach Kirby Smart a hilarious gift.

The Georgia Bulldogs have been home to a plethora of iconic athletes over the years and have featured a plethora of lovable individuals who live on in Georgia history. However, few figures seem to be as universally loved as punter, Brett Thorson.

During his time in Athens, Thorson was one of the most dangerous punters in the country and frequently placed opponents deep in their own territory. His efforts helped contribute to three SEC Championship victories, and a national championship.

Thorson's massive leg not only helped him become a Bulldogs' legend on the field, but his humorous personality, Australian accent, and iconic mullet helped him become a fan-favorite within the city of Athens.

Thorson's personality has been showcased on numerous occasions, with the Bulldogs social media team creating viral posts and segments featuring the Australian punter. However, Thorson's latest moment of humor features a barb at Kirby Smart.

In a recent social media post, Thorson recently posted a picture with a handful of pharmaceutical supplies that would be prominently featured within your grandparents medical cabinet. The products included hair treatment, arthitis medicine, and other products for aging individuals.

Smart who turns 51 this December, has already had a handful of expenses made at his expense. During the 2025 regular season, LSU Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin made jokes about Smart's weight, implying he had not been working out.

Despite jokes made at his expense, the Bulldogs head coach remains in good spirits about his appearance, and has frequently dished out barbs of his own. Smart was most recently seen making jokes at the expense of Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal at an event, making jokes about the team's NIL spending.

While Thorson is no longer a member of the Bulldogs' roster, the punter's humor and jokes still resonate within the Georgia fan base and will likely make him an extremely beloved figure for whichever NFL team selects him this offseason.
