ESPN recently released its list of the 5 hardest schedules for the 2019 NCAA season. As usual, the list is SEC dominant with a splash of the PAC-12:

ESPN's Top-5 Toughest Schedules of 2019

1.) South Carolina

2.) University of Southern California

3.) Florida

4.) Stanford

5.) Georgia

South Carolina has an absolutely brutal schedule this season with Bama, Georgia, Florida, and Clemson on the books for the Gamecocks. Not to mention they've got to go to Knoxville to play the Volunteers, and travel to Texas A&M, neither of which are easy bouts for Muschamp's squad.

As for the PAC-12 schools making the list, USC and Stanford, both teams have Notre Dame on the schedule, but aside from that, I personally don't understand the hype surrounding the schedules from both schools.

Florida opens with Miami in their first matchup since 2013 and it should be a great way to start the college football season. The Gators have drawn Auburn & LSU out of the West and of course, they get the pleasure of losing to Georgia for the third year in a row.

Now, as for Georgia's schedule:

Most Georgia fans would agree this season is no different than any other in terms of scheduling apart from a few things. We have two cupcake home games against Murray State and Arkansas State after opening the season in Nashville to face a young Vandy team.

Then Notre Dame comes to town September 21st for what is expected to be the most expensive ticket of the college football season. Currently, tickets in the nosebleeds are selling for $677 on Vividseats.com. (But they can't afford to pay the players right?)

Then it's the usual gauntlet for the Dawgs. The East is still relatively down, but Missouri should be better, Florida is expected to take a step forward this year, and the road game to Auburn could be the toughest test of them all if they are still in contention for the West.

The only issue I have with ESPN's rankings has to be the oversight of Notre Dame. Think about this, they come to Athens to play the Dawgs, home against USC, at Michigan and close the season at Stanford. Yikes.
