Former Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett is expected to participate in offseason workouts for the LA Rams after missing the 2023 season

The Los Angeles Rams received good news this week as team general manager Les Snead told reporters that quarterback Stetson Bennett would once again be with the team to participate in offseason workouts ahead of the 2024 regular season.

Bennett, a former fourth-round pick in the NFL Draft showed promise during the 2023 preseason but was placed on the NFI (Non-Football Injury) list for undisclosed reasons and missed the entire 2023 regular season as a result. 

During his time at the University of Georgia, Bennett became somewhat of a legend as he led the Bulldogs to their first title in 41 years in 2021. He then followed up his 2021 success with an even more impressive season in 2022, where he led the Bulldogs to their second-straight national title victory and was nominated for the Heisman trophy.

Bennett’s path to once again starting at the quarterback position remains unclear as the Rams have also added veteran quarterback Jimmy Garappolo to their roster this offseason. However, the fact that he is expected to be back with the team this year is excellent news for Bennett and his fans.
