Live Updates: Georgia Tech Takes On Long Island Looking For 8-0 Start

It is time for another midweek matchup for Georgia Tech Baseball. This time, they will be opposed by the Long Island Sharks, who come into the game 0-6.
Georgia Tech is coming off a series sweep of Tennessee Tech and is looking for an 8-0 start to the season.
Georgia Tech won the first game against the Golden Eagles 12-3 thanks to a steady offense and 12 strikeouts from Dawson Brown.
The second game on Saturday saw Angelo Dispigna and Jack Rubenstein hit a couple of home runs and knock in five runs combined to put away the Golden Eagles 10-4.
The Yellow Jackets fell behind 4-0 in the first inning yesterday, but the pitching got steadier as the game went on and the offense was too much for Tennessee Tech to handle.
Luke Schmolke is on the mound today for the Yellow Jackets and he will be looking to have a better start than last week against Georgia Southern.
Here is the starting lineup for the Yellow Jackets.
1. CF-Jake DeLeo
2. IF-Angelo Dispigna
3. RF- Stephen Reid
4. DH- Jack Rubenstein
5. 1B- Jackson Finley
6. 3B- John Geisler
7. 2B- Nicholas Romano
8. C- Tyler Minnick
9. SS- Demitri Diamant
