How to Watch No. 15 Indiana Basketball Against Michigan on Sunday

Indiana hosts Michigan in the Big Ten regular season finale on Sunday at Assembly Hall. Here's how to watch, with game time and TV information, three keys to the game, the latest on the point spread, the coaching matchup, series history, stats, rankings and more.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana's Senior Night game on Sunday against Michigan comes with serious Big Ten Tournament implications. Just one game separates second and ninth place in the conference standings, and 12 Big Ten teams are in action on Sunday.

Indiana is coming off an ugly 90-68 home loss against Iowa on Tuesday, and Michigan suffered a double-overtime loss at Illinois on Thursday that put the Wolverines NCAA Tournament hopes in jeopardy.

The final day of the Big Ten regular season is sure to be chaotic, but sixth-year senior Race Thompson and the Hoosiers are focused on controlling what they can control.

"We're just focused on getting our defense back right and then our offense will take care of itself," Thompson said. "We have a good test on Sunday against Michigan, and all we can really do is focus on winning that game and hopefully the tide turns our way."

Three things to watch in Indiana vs. Michigan

1. Indiana's supporting cast

Indiana relies heavily on Trayce Jackson-Davis and Jalen Hood-Schifino, and inconsistent scoring from the supporting cast is an issue at times. The duo combined for 49 of Indiana's 62 points in the first matchup against Michigan. For Indiana to be at its best, guys like Miller Kopp, Trey Galloway, Race Thompson and Tamar Bates have to be scoring threats.

2. Dickinson versus Jackson-Davis

Two of the Big Ten's best bigs match up for the fifth time in their careers on Sunday, and one will leave with a 3-2 advantage over the other. Trayce Jackson-Davis has led Indiana to back-to-back wins over Dickinson and the Wolverines, scoring a combined 52 points. Dickinson is coming off a 31-point, 16-rebound effort against Illinois, but Michigan fell just short in a double-overtime loss.

3. Defending Kobe Bufkin

Michigan's 6-foot-4 guard Kobe Bufkin is having a breakout sophomore season, increasing is scoring average by 10.7 points. He's scored at least 23 points in the last two games, including a career-high 28 to beat Wisconsin. Indiana has struggled to defend quick guards at times this season, most recently Iowa's Tony Perkins on Tuesday.

  • XAVIER JOHSON UPDATE: Indiana senior point guard Xavier Johnson will not return to action during the 2022-23 season, but he will pursue a medical hardship waiver for next season. CLICK HERE
  • NEXT GENERATION: GABE CUPPS: Gabe Cupps has been hanging out in the gym with his dad since he was a little boy, and he's grown into a state champion point guard who's excited about playing at Indiana in a few months. But first, he'd like to win one more Ohio state title together with his dad Brook. CLICK HERE
  • IU'S RESPONSE TO IOWA LOSS: Indiana played what Mike Woodson called "probably the worst display of basketball since I've been here as a coach" in a blowout loss on Tuesday against Iowa. With tough practices this week, Indiana is hoping to respond in a crucial game on Sunday against Michigan. CLICK HERE
