BLOOMINGTON Ind. – We're in the final week of the regular season, and the race for Big Ten tournament seeding is heating up. There's a four-way tie for second play in the conference between Indiana, Northwestern, Maryland and Michigan, and a win tonight would go a long way for the Hoosiers in their hopes of a double-bye in the Big Ten Tournament.

Indiana is also looking to avenge a 91-89 loss at Iowa on Jan. 5 and continue its hot streak of wins in 10 of the last 13 games. Indiana is coming off a 79-71 win at No. 5 Purdue on Saturday, and Iowa won an overtime thriller against Michigan State the same day.

Welcome to our live blog from press row at Assembly Hall, where Indiana hosts Iowa at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

9:03 p.m. – Final from Assembly Hall: Iowa 90, Indiana 68. Probably Indiana's worst performance of the season, especially on the defensive end. The Hoosiers wrap up their regular season on Sunday against Michigan at 4:30 p.m. ET at Assembly Hall.

8:50 p.m. – Connor McCaffery was called for a foul on Jackson-Davis, and Mike Woodson picked up a technical foul when play stopped. He hasn't been happy with the officiating all night.

8:45 p.m. – Jackson-Davis is doing all he can on the offensive end to get Indiana back in the game, but Indiana's defense just can't string stops together. Jackson-Davis has eight points in the last four minutes, but it's still a 75-56 Iowa lead.

8:38 p.m. – Indiana is on a 6-1 run at the under-eight media timeout, but still trails by 20 points. The Hoosiers have missed plenty of make-able shots around the basket this half, and Kaleb Banks missed their only 3-point attempt.

8:33 p.m. – Reneau sinks 1-of-1 free throws for Indiana, cutting the lead to 69-46 with 10:41 to play. CJ Gunn checks in for Tamar Bates.

8:31 p.m. – Jackson-Davis also just became Indiana's all-time leading rebounder, passing Alan Henderson. He now holds Indiana career records in blocked shots and rebounds, and he's fourth in points.

8:28 p.m. – Murray picks up his third foul, bumping into Jackson-Davis in transition. It's now or never for Indiana, trailing 66-45 with 11:12. Comeback starts on the defensive end.

8:25 p.m. – Race Thompson picks up his fourth foul going for a rebound with 12:48 remaining. Reneau replaces him. Iowa is out-rebounding Indiana 26-15. Iowa's Rebraca just picked up his third foul, and he'll have to sit. Iowa doesn't have much frontcourt depth, so that could be a big advantage for Indiana. The bigger problem for Indiana has been defense, though.

8:22 p.m. – Murray drove right past Miller Kopp, and there way no help at the basket. That's been the story of the night, as Iowa leads 63-42 with 14:30 left. Indiana is 1-for-7 from 3.

8:13 p.m. – Banks stole the ball from Tony Perkins, but his layup in transition was way off. Murray takes it coast to coast going the other way and give Iowa a 61-40 lead with 15:33 left in the game. It was a promising first minute or two of the second half for Indiana, making it a nine-point game, but Iowa responded with a 14-2 run.

8:09 p.m. – Indiana cut the deficit to nine points, but it's back up to 15 after an Ahron Ulis 3-pointer.

8:07 p.m. – Jackson-Davis steals Iowa's in-bounds pass for an easy dunk, and Galloway forces a turnover as Iowa tried to in-bound it again. Assembly Hall is rocking as Indiana comes out in a full-court press to start the half.

8:05 p.m. – The second half is under way from Assembly Hall. Really important for Indiana to come out with energy to start the second half. The first few minutes could go a log way in determining if a comeback is possible.

7:48 p.m. – Iowa leads Indiana 47-36 at halftime. Hood-Schifino made a reverse layup in transition, and Indiana got a crucial stop on the final possession of the half. Altogether, that's still one of Indiana's worst halves of the season, especially on the defensive end. The Hoosiers are getting beat off the dribble, and Iowa is 7-for-12 from 3-point range. Far from over, but Indiana has to make some serious improvements on the defensive end to get back in this one.

7:45 p.m. – Jackson-Davis makes it a 47-34 game with a minute left in the half. Indiana is simply unable to string together defensive stops right now. Galloway got caught in a mismatch with Rebraca on the previous possession, which led to an easy layup just before the shot-clock expired.

7:42 p.m. – Indiana forces a turnover, but Jackson-Davis' lob carried Kaleb Banks out of bounds. That's a missed opportunity to cut into this lead, but Iowa gave it right back with a travel on the other end. Critical three-minute stretch to close teh half with Indiana down 15 points.

7:38 p.m. – Iowa continues its impressive shooting night with another 3 from Kris Murray, who has 15 points now. Tony Perkins has 13 points, and he's been able to get to the rim whenever he wants tonight. Iowa leads 43-26, and Indiana is really struggling on the defensive end. Way too many easy drives to the basket and easy looks from beyond the arc.

7:35 p.m. – Iowa is 6-for-10 from 3-point range to start, compared to Indiana which is 1-for-5 after Galloway's second miss. Race Thompson picks up his second foul of the game, and Murray goes 1-for-2 at the line. Kopp enters for Thompson, as Indiana elects to play a smaller lineup now with Kopp at the four. Iowa leads 38-24 with five minutes remaining in the first half.

7:28 p.m. – A 3-pointer from Sandfort and reverse layup from McCaffery push Iowa's lead back to double figures. Indiana's defense is allowing way too many open looks from the outside, and they've been beat to the rim a couple times. Iowa leads 33-20.

7:26 p.m. – Looked like Rebraca was still sliding over, but they get Jackson-Davis for an offensive foul. Jackson-Davis and Hood-Schifino take a seat midway through the first half with Indiana trailing 26-20.

7:19 p.m. – Excellent defensive possession for Indiana to force a shot-clock violation. Bates and Hood-Schifino came out with a light press, and the Hoosiers communicated switches well. Reneau cut off Murray's drive, and the Hawkeyes had nowhere to go. Assembly Hall is amped up for this one. Still 21-16 at the under-12 media timeout.

7:18 p.m. – Murray beat Jackson-Davis on the dribble, but Jackson-Davis pinned Murray's reverse layup on the glass. Gallloway dives for the loose ball, and the possession arrow goes to Indiana. Jackson-Davis draws a foul on Payton Sandfort, and he sinks both free throws. Iowa leads 21-16 with 12:17 left in the first half.

7:14 p.m. – Jackson-Davis with a nice wraparound pass along the baseline to Galloway, who drills the corner 3-pointer. Thompson steals the ball from Rebraca on the other end, but Indiana turned it over, as well. Kris Murray drills another 3, and Iowa leads 19-10 with 14 minutes left in the first half. Murray has 11 points.

7:09 p.m. – Kris Murray picks up a foul guarding Race Thompson in the post. He's a tough matchup for Indiana, so it would be big to get him in foul trouble. Galloway converts a floater after the foul, and Thompson forces a jump ball on the other end. Iowa leads 16-7 at the under-16 media timeout.

7:07 p.m. – Iowa comes out with a full-court press, but Indiana is able to break it without much issue. Iowa's defense was out of possession scrambling back, and Jackson-Davis converted an and-one. Iowa leads 12-5.

7:05 p.m. – Iowa jumps out to an 8-0 lead, and Mike Woodson calls a timeout less than two minutes into the game. Murray has splashed a pair of 3-pointers, and Filip Rebraca scored over Jackson-Davis in the post. Bad start for the Hoosiers, but but Race Thompson scores a right hook after the timeout.

7:01 p.m. – Indiana wins the tip and misses two 3-point attempts on its first possession. Kris Murray drills a 3 from the right win to open the scoring.

6:40 p.m. – Indiana senior point guard Xavier Johnson is going through full pregame warmups tonight. Coach Mike Woodson said Monday that Johnson will not play on Tuesday against Iowa, but it's a promising sign to see him dressed and warming up at full capacity for the first time since breaking his foot on Dec. 17 at Kansas.

6:30 p.m. – Indiana junior forward Jordan Geronimo is in a walking boot tonight, so he will not play. The Hoosiers will also be without junior guard Anthony Leal (lower leg) and sophomore center Logan Duncomb (sinus infection). CLICK HERE for our full pregame injury story.
