BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Mackenzie Holmes has done it again, and again and again as she's the Big Ten Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.

The senior forward from Gorham, Maine is the team's leading scorer averaging 22.6 points per game and 7.4 boards. Her numbers this season and every season before this one have earned her seven Big Ten weekly honors, the most in school history.

She joins Jill Chapman as one of two players to earn four weekly awards within the same season.

Holmes started off the week marking a career high 33 points in the Hoosiers' 83-59 win over No. 13 Ohio State last Monday. She followed up that performance with a 27-point night in the Hoosiers' 68-52 win against No. 13 Michigan at home Thursday night.

Finally, Sunday was the B1G cherry on top of a sweet week as Holmes led her Hoosiers to an 83-60 win against rival Purdue with her 20 points and seven rebounds.

This win clinched at least a share of the Big Ten regular season title for the first one since 1983.

Holmes has been a force in the low block all season long as her signature spin move for a layup finish always seem to throw off a defense. She requires a double team, unless you want her to go for 25 plus points on the night.

Alongside senior guard Grace Berger and junior guard Chloe Moore-McNeil plus newcomers Sydney Parrish, Yarden Garzon and Sara Scalia — you're looking at a team that can go all the way to the top.
